Tier List Arknights: Endfield
This tier list is built based on hands-on experience from the official version of Arknights: Endfield, during the phase when players were first able to more fully access the game’s characters and combat system. While the number of available operators during beta was still limited, it was already sufficient to form a clear picture of how each operator functions within a four-member squad and what their real combat roles look like in practice.
It is important to emphasize that this is not a final tier list for the official release. An operator’s strength can change significantly once the game launches, especially if the development team adjusts balance, reworks skills, or modifies core mechanics. That said, if there are no major changes from beta to release, this tier list should still serve as a useful reference—particularly for new players or for those considering rerolling and deciding where to invest their early resources.
Tier List Criteria
Unlike many tier lists that focus only on class or raw stats, this tier list is organized around four functional roles within a team: DPS, Sub DPS, Support, and Healer. Each operator is evaluated based on their real performance when placed in the role they are designed for, rather than being compared broadly across unrelated roles.
- DPS are evaluated based on damage output, on-field efficiency, and how easy they are to operate in real combat scenarios.
- Sub DPS are ranked according to their overall value, meaning they can deal respectable damage while also providing meaningful supportive contributions to the team.
- SP (Support) focuses on buffing, debuffing, SP recovery, and enhancing the team’s overall performance.
- Healers are judged by their healing output and their ability to keep teammates protected during combat encounters.
Meaning of Each Tier
Tier S represents the strongest operators at the current stage, often defining the meta and being extremely difficult to replace within their respective roles. If you plan to reroll or invest for the long term, these are the top-priority picks.
Tier A consists of very strong and reliable options. In most team compositions, Tier A operators can effectively replace Tier S without causing a major drop in overall performance.
Tier B includes operators that perform well under specific conditions. They usually require more tailored team setups or higher investment to fully shine. These are “usable, but not always optimal” choices.
Tier C contains operators that currently underperform compared to the general meta. This does not mean they are unusable, but in most situations they are outclassed by better alternatives.
When Will the Tier List Be Updated?
This tier list is not static. We will update it whenever new versions are released, balance changes are introduced, or the game’s meta shifts in a noticeable way. After Arknights: Endfield officially launches, the team will thoroughly retest all game content before publishing major tier list updates.
The goal is to ensure that the tier list always reflects the current state of the game, rather than allowing outdated information to mislead players.
Finally, remember that a tier list is only a reference tool. Player skill, team-building choices, and investment levels all have a significant impact on real gameplay performance. Even lower-tier operators can perform very well when used correctly and placed in the right team composition.
Think of the tier list as a directional map—use it as guidance, then fine-tune your decisions based on your own experience throughout your journey in Arknights: Endfield.
